CERTIFICATION

Proper certification is essential to a serious martial artist.  For a person to be authentically certified in the martial arts by international standards, the individual must earn his/her rank from an authentically certified system head or association in a properly recognized style (ryu).   Proper certification of instructors and students insures that the forms and techniques students learn and practice are identical to those done worldwide by practitioners of the same style.

That is why, at Impact Martial Arts, we belong to both authentic national and international associations of our style of Shorin-Ryu Karate-Do.  This fact means our school’s instructors and certificates are recognized worldwide by other schools within our style, and also by other Martial Arts systems as proper certification in a recognized traditional style.

Students of Impact Martial Arts, LLC, have the prestigious opportunity to obtain for a modest fee, authentic certificates from the Honbu Dojo (Home School) in Okinawa, at the ranks of brown belt and above.  These certificates are signed by the head of Shorin-Ryu, Shorinkan Karate-Do, Hanshi Nakazato, 10^th Degree Black Belt.  Besides being a priceless momento of a student’s journey, these certificates also register the member with the Honbu Dojo.  All fees from these certificates go directly to the International Shorin-Ryu Association in Okinawa.
